NCC Girl Cadets Visit Forward Areas in #Kumaon, Uttarakhand

40 Girl Cadets of UP NCC Directorate, embarked on eight days forward area tour in remote regions of #Kumaonhills.

The cadets besides visiting famous tourist places also interacted with troops of #Panchshulbrigade which made all arrangements to give them a holistic exposure to ‘Way of Life’ of a soldier in inhospitable terrain & weather conditions and different types of New Generation Equipment / weapons in #IndianArmy.

The cadets also interacted with citizens of village Gunji being developed under Govt of India initiative of #vibrantvillage programme, which gave them an overview of the challenges faced by the people residing in #Borderareas.

The collaborative initiative between #SuryaCommand and UP NCC Directorate is aimed to motivate the future generation to join #IndianArmedForces in their endeavour to contribute to #NationBuilding.
