Breaking 93 Years of History: Marathi Mulgi Sai Jadhav becomes First Woman officer to pass out from IMA ! 🇮🇳

At just 23, Sai Jadhav has passed out from the Indian Military Academy (IMA) in Dehradun and was commissioned as a Lieutenant in the Indian Territorial Army.
She has created history by becoming first woman officer cadet to pass out of IMA in 93 years.
Since its establishment in 1932, the IMA has trained thousands of officers, but for the first time, a woman has earned the honour of wearing those stars on her shoulders.
It is a matter of immense pride that this honour has gone to a Marathi Mulgi !

This is not just an individual success story, but an inspiring milestone that gives direction to the dreams of countless young girls across the country. Educated and brought up in Belgaum and originally from Kolhapur, Sai represents the 4th generation of the Jadhav family to carry forward the legacy of service to the nation.
Her great-grandfather served in the British Army, her grandfather in the Indian Army, and her father, Major Sandeep Jadhav, is currently serving in the Indian Army.
By joining the armed forces, Sai has now created a new chapter in India’s military history.

सई जाधव यांनी केवळ 23व्या वर्षी इंडियन मिलिट्री अकादमी (IMA), डेहराडून येथून पास-आउट होत भारतीय टेरिटोरियल आर्मीमध्ये लेफ्टनंट म्हणून कमीशन मिळवले आणि 93 वर्षांनंतर पहिल्यांदाच महिला अधिकारी बनण्याचा मान मिळवला. 1932 साली स्थापन झालेल्या IMA मधून आजवर हजारो अधिकारी घडले, मात्र प्रथमच एका महिलेला हे गौरवाचे स्टार्स खांद्यावर लावण्याचा मान मिळाला आणि तो मान एका मराठी मुलीला मिळाला, ही संपूर्ण महाराष्ट्रासाठी अभिमानाची बाब आहे.
