@JeffMJohns1@Moonpool_sub "The world would feel more alive", you're missing the whole plot leading to this game, the point is that the world is dead or actively dying
@MR3Dev Small teams can totally use high end graphics, there's a massive vault of information from various talks and community tutorials... Large teams are actually worse because they don't get the time to use those resources while indies technically don't have major deadlines
@LuzianoArts Shaders, foliage... Nanite is far more efficient than LODs but proper workflows aren't quite there yet, foliage is the biggest issue at the moment and TW4 might be the first to release with performant Nanite foliage
@Jaiydanimate@xweert71188761 Wow that's such a dumb take... If the AI didn't replace the human writing the code and wrote some redundant boilerplate it's absolutely fine, even if it wrote significant code it's still an incredibly useful tool for programmers, I don't think it replaced a job in that scenario.
@Mayo_And_Chip Six games is a lot and is basically ridiculous and professionally unmaintainable... Unless the games are just "ideas" and not in production otherwise we won't see any of those games before 2030 lol... Also a bendy movie sounds boring as fuck
@VengeNocturnal I don't think we played the same game... I much prefer SOTM for immersion and interesting story (even though I don't like the story) rather than the SB bugfest and messy "story". Ruin is better than the base game in my opinion.
@FNAFSOTM@v1ct0ry2022@Mayo_And_Chip That is wrong on so many levels... The real issue with Steel Wool is that they are really incompetent with the engine, they're still stuck in 4.27 and don't know how to use the engine... For comparison just look at TJOC in UE5. Generally speaking it's never the engine's fault.
@GlitchedBella I personally like the style and intent of Security Breach but hate the execution, while I hate the intent and style of SotM but love the execution...
@J_Lee_Design You can make your own, but it requires knowledge very few have. You don't realize how complex that stuff is... As for editing you can already do quite a bit but Epic did say they wanted to add a lot... It's an experimental plugin, calm down
@BackroomsTP Cool, but instead of bragging maybe tell what's the engine? The tech behind it? Did you make it yourself, or?
I'm not saying it's not impressive, just curious
