Until recently, Hamideh Soleimani Afshar and her daughter were green card holders living lavishly in the United States.

Afshar is the niece of deceased Iranian Major General Qasem Soleimani. She is also an outspoken supporter of the Iranian regime who celebrated attacks on Americans and referred to our country as the "Great Satan."

This week, I terminated both Afshar and her daughter's legal status and they are now in ICE custody, pending removal from the United States.

The Trump Administration will not allow our country to become a home for foreign nationals who support anti-American terrorist regimes.

هم‌میهنانم،

در آستانه چهارشنبه‌سوری، رژیم ضدایرانی جمهوری اسلامی بار دیگر می‌کوشد مانع برگزاری این آیین ملی و باستانی شود. اما امسال ما چهارشنبه‌سوری را به یاد دلاورانی که جان خود را برای بازپس‌گیری ایران و هویت ملی‌مان فدا کردند، با شوری ملی برگزار می‌کنیم.

پیام ما روشن است: آتش ما، نماد نور و پاکی ایران، بر تاریکی و پلیدی این رژیم ناایرانی پیروز خواهد شد و خاک ایران را از اشغالگران جنایتکار پاک خواهد کرد.

از همه ایرانیان خارج از کشور نیز می‌خواهم در چهارشنبه‌سوری در برابر سفارتخانه‌های رژیم در سراسر جهان گرد هم آیند و فریاد بزنند:
تا وقتی ایران آزاد نشود و جمهوری اسلامی از صفحه روزگار محو نگردد، ملت ایران آرام نخواهد گرفت.

همچنین از رئیس‌جمهور آمریکا و نخست‌وزیر اسرائیل می‌خواهم تحولات این روز را با دقت زیر نظر بگیرند و اجازه ندهند جمهوری اسلامی در این آیین ملی با مردم شجاع ایران با خشونت برخورد کند.

ما با برگزاری باشکوه چهارشنبه‌سوری، به پیشواز نوروز و بهار آزادی ایران می‌رویم و نشان می‌دهیم که روز رهایی ایران نزدیک است.

هم‌میهنان عزیزم،

ملت ما ثروتمند، بااستعداد و سربلند است؛ اما مردم ما به سبب فساد، بی‌کفایتی و ماجراجویی‌های جمهوری‌اسلامی فقیر شده‌اند.

این وضع باید پایان یابد.

من امروز، پنج هدف اقتصادی سامانه گذار را به شما عرضه می‌کنم؛ تعهداتی روشن و صادقانه بر اساس برنامه پروژه شکوفایی ایران با هدف بازگرداندن ثروت ایران به مردمش. این برنامه با تکیه بر استعداد‌ و تخصص ایرانیان اجرایی خواهد شد.

نخست، سامانه گذار، اقتصاد کشورمان را از تسلط نیروهای نظامی و شبه‌نظامی، و مجرمان اقتصادی خارج خواهد کرد و کنترل آن را به شهروندان و کارآفرینان باز خواهد گرداند.

دوم، سامانه گذار، ثروتهای توقیف‌شده و ربوده‌شده ایران را پس خواهد گرفت و به شهروندان ایرانی بر خواهد گرداند.

سوم، ثروت کشور صرف ایرانیان خواهد شد و نه تروریست‌ها و شبه‌نظامیان بیگانه. سامانه گذار، متعهد به بازسازی و نوسازی زیرساخت‌ها به‌ویژه شبکه تامین آب، برق و سوخت در سراسر کشور است.

چهارم، سامانه گذار، ساختار رانت، فساد نهادینه و انحصارات را در هم خواهد شکست، و ثروت ملی را صَرف بهداشت و درمان، آموزش، و ریشه‌‌کن کردن فقر خواهد کرد.

و سرانجام، بزرگ‌ترین سرمایه ایران، نه نفت و گاز، بلکه شما هستید. سامانه گذار در نیروی انسانی ایران سرمایه‌گذاری خواهد کرد. ایران به اقتصاد جهانی متصل خواهد شد و ثبات اقتصادی، رشد و شکوفایی به میهن‌مان باز خواهد گشت.

این‌ها نه وعده‌هایی پوچ، بلکه تعهدات سامانه گذار برای اجرا هستند. تعهد من به شما این است که در کنار شما پیگیر اجرایی شدن این برنامه خواهم بود.

What you have done will be told for centuries. The Iranian nation will never forget your sacrifice and the price you paid for the liberation of the homeland, above all on the 8th and 9th of January.

I told you that help was on the way. Now that help has arrived.

I call upon you, the bravest and most devoted sons and daughters of Iran, as the nation’s vanguard force, to further wear down and weaken the Islamic Republic’s repressive apparatus, now under heavy blows from the sky, in every way possible, in order to pave the way for its ultimate collapse.

Bear in mind that this is not a call for street demonstrations, it is a call to you, the Immortal Guard, to deliver intelligent and effective blows against the exhausted and worn-down oppressors, so that the path for the millions of the Iranian nation to flood the streets is further cleared.

At the same time, make preserving your own lives a priority, for your presence in the final battle, to protect the onrushing torrent of millions of Iranians claiming their freedom, is vital and indispensable.

You are of the lineage of Rostam and Kaveh, and your enemies are of the ilk of Zahhak. In this battle of good against evil, of light against darkness, you stand on the right side of history, and the hopes and prayers of a great nation see you on your way.

I eagerly await the day when I will stand beside you in the first liberated city of Iran, and together we will seal the final victory.
