Poverty is persistent in rural Nigeria — especially for children. As isolation increases and support falls, rural kids are struggling to thrive.

Education is the biggest opportunity for children from disadvantaged backgrounds to break free from poverty

🚨 No desk, tables, and chairs
🚨 Bad state of the toilet
🚨 No water for kids to drink
🚨 No food [Breakfast and lunch]
🚨 No notebook and text books
🚨 Ratio of teachers to kids is 170 : 1 teacher in some schools
🚨 Bad state of classroom [no window, no doors, no chalk board]

❌ So many need textbooks, exercise books, pen/pencil, and backpack
❌ No bathroom supplies in their schools
❌ Struggle to feed and drink potable water

Our journey can be painful, but it’s our experience that usually molds us to be compassionate and kind
