Embassy of India, Tripoli organised the Ayurveda Day Celebration on 23 September 2026 with particiation of Indian and Libyan doctors, paramedics, academics and officials. Ambassador Dr. Hifzur Rahman had a productive interaction with President of the Islamic College and Heads of Faculties and discussed avenues of cooperation in academic field with Indian institutes. The College has been a prominent institution of higher education in Islamic Sciences and Arabic Literature since its establishment in 1974 in Tripoli, and has sister institutions in several African and Asian countries. Currently the College in Tripoli has students from 64 countries. In past, a number of Indian scholars have also graduated from this institution. @MEAIndia
