The US President should be the best that the USA has to offer in terms of leadership. It's a pretty sad example for a country that they have to prop up two ancient relics to run against each other. That doesn't show progression, it shows a country not willing to move forward.
Older leaders struggle to adapt to the rapidly changing technological world around them. This can impede decision making on critical matters, especially matters that involve technology, cyber security, and data privacy.
Older leaders tend to have a short-term vision rather than long term goals and strategies. A leader with a limited time in office may be less motivated to invest in policies that bear fruit over an extended period. That will lead to future generations needs being ignored or shrugged off.
Older individuals might be more resistant to change or hesitant to embrace innovative solutions. This could hinder progress, especially in addressing emerging challenges that require forward-thinking approaches.
Rather than centrist or far right-wing conservative visions being pushed on the citizens of the USA, a more progressive vision is needed to lead for much needed change. Trump is not your savior, either is Biden. Biden may be a speed bump trying to stop Project 2025's vision - but the fact that everyone has to understand is that they'll just wait for the next republican to be elected to implement it.
And by the way, since it’s cheaper to produce fast, synthetic music to drop on streaming every week to capitalize on the strengths of the model, watch how the model is preparing you for AI generated music that pays musicians nothing at all.
I was an opener at a gym and the only employee in the building from 5:30am-9am 5 days a week.
The manager position directly above me opened up. I applied, and got it.
After 2 weeks of working this position I was introduced to the manager they hired for this role. Then they said I was too valuable as the opener and it's easier to fill the manager role than the former.
The 80 hours I worked as manager were paid at $8.75 per hour instead of the $12 I was promised and the next Monday I was scheduled back for opening and only 27.5 hours.
So needless to say I quit. I never missed a day. Did my job so well I was invaluable and they STILL rugpulled me.
Hard work is punished in the US.
Recorded this last night. Posting because I need to get it out, and hope it connects with others in a similar space. <3 #depression#ceasefire

My wife discovered I'd been talking to women on dating sites *just in case* she ever decides to divorce me and she got really upset
I showed her the redpill forums where they talk about how every man needs backup options (women initiate most divorces) but she's still mad, AITA?
I wish people understood what's really happening. Because I think this MIGHT be a problem with the audiences' expectations.
Jobs' examples aren't relevant here. The problem we're seeing is as follows:
1: Company spends decades making products people love.

Amazing Architects/Spiritbox/Loathe concert tonight! 😎🤘 Unfortunately, the Spiritbox hoodie I wanted got sold out before I managed to grab one 😭 But @corklezlaplante and Sam Carter were both inspirational ❤️❤️
The International Court of Justice finds that there is sufficient basis for South Africa’s case against Israel and will not dismiss the case as Israel requested.
This is a historic moment. The Court’s decision makes U.S. complicity more difficult for Biden officials to deny.
Israeli occupation troops in Gaza found a Jewish cemetery for soldiers killed in WW1, maintained in pristine condition in the "Hamas-run Gaza". And they proudly posted photo-ops in front of it without even realizing it undermines their main propaganda about Hamas
The legal case before the ICJ is turning into an epic legal battle of Global South vs. Global North, as evident from German and Canadian interventions, and previous US statements, during the 2nd day of the ICJ hearing: 1/17
2 things:
1. Personally I disagree. To me, that scene was extremely uncomfortable, and helped show the "real" Quick, and how emotionally "off"/immature he is. But I can see why others might not like it.
2. Even if I didn't like it, I think it's important til to let creators 1/2
