WEF (WiFi Exploitation Framework) is an open-source wireless security assessment framework designed to help penetration testers and security researchers evaluate the security of authorized Wi-Fi networks. Built primarily as a Bash-based toolkit, it provides a unified interface for auditing modern and legacy wireless security technologies, including WPA/WPA2/WPA3, WPS, WEP, enterprise Wi-Fi environments, and rogue access point scenarios. The framework automates many stages of wireless security testing, including network discovery, handshake capture, interface management, reporting, and attack workflow selection based on the detected characteristics of the target access point. It supports 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz networks, generates HTML assessment reports, includes multilingual support, and integrates with well-known open-source wireless security projects such as Aircrack-ng, hcxdumptool, hcxtools, Wifiphisher, Airgeddon, and Wifite2. WEF is intended for authorized wireless penetration testing, security validation, lab environments, and defensive assessments to help organizations identify weak Wi-Fi configurations, validate wireless security controls, and improve the resilience of their wireless infrastructure.
