Just throwing out my own 2 cents on the EoA demo, feel free to ignore and especially ignore if you’re someone who doesn’t like people whose opinions may differ from yours (thanks)

I think the people shitting on EoA demo need to realize that that’s exactly what it is.. a demo.

First off, im not talking about the people who are giving legit criticism but the ones that are complaining that it’s incomplete, not what they wanted or are complaining about the world being empty.

My guys.. please don’t judge it this harshly till it comes out officially. This is a demo, they ain’t gonna give away everything for free and anyone who paid attention to the aincrad part of the anime knows that the first floor (assuming that’s what we are on because of the town of beginnings) didn’t really have much anyways. Plus we legit start as a real new player and not a somewhat experience protagonist. We get to play the actual beta before the death game incident which, iirc, wasn’t a really a thing in previous games.

My personal theory is that due to this being a demo there’s going to be features that they aren’t giving us right away. Good example is the character creation wasn’t even an option in the demo yet either so clearly there’s more to this game than what we’ve been given. Plus who knows, maybe this demo was part of a beta and will go away once it’s released and the only thing transferring over is our save file. Idk I’m just trying to be optimistic amongst all the negativity been seeing regarding the demo.

I may be entirely wrong but I’m also not going to judge a game by its demo cause this wouldn’t be the first time a game released a shitty demo but the actual released game was amazing. 🤷🏻‍♀️

Is the game perfect? No. Definitely not.
But I also don’t think it warrants this amount of negativity and harsh criticism until it’s official release and we get to experience the entire thing in all its (potential) glory.
Just my 2 cents 🥹👍

@AzureBlurVT Oh for sure but I think it’s also a mental thing too. Like if you engross yourself and allow yourself to forget about the outside world for a bit it’s easier to get immersed or yknow getting the external add ons like haptics and the treadmill thing but I see what you’re saying

God I hope so and I hope they add a multiplayer at some point but even if they don’t this game is super enjoyable and with its soft souls like vibe it’s literally the perfect intro for anyone wanting to try souls like but not wanting to dive head first into the harsh dark souls games lol
