Revealed: how academy trust at centre of behaviour row spent £400,000 on legal fees.

FOI response to my request shows Mossbourne Federation spent the cash in response to the statutory safeguarding review into practice at one of its schools.
@DudeAdhd@hackneycouncil never audited how Mossbourne uses LA funding because for too long now the likes of @HackneyAbbott and her education councillors considered Mossbourne Hackney’s success story. So ordinary citizens kids being abused were swept away. Abuse has been ongoing since 2010
@DudeAdhd Child A, same EHCP contents moved to an out of borough LA school. That school charged @hackneycouncil £15,900 per year and gave all, including more than the EHCP support to help Child A's SEMH recover. Just for Child A, Mossbourne claimed £35k a year & don't follow EHCPs. Cheats!
@DudeAdhd Well, let me give you the exact figure how Mossbourne also cheat the LA who provide EHCP provisions. Child A has an EHCP that Mossbourne charged @hackneycouncil £35k. Their child abuse on this child was beyond humanely imaginable and he severely deteriorated in progress.
@AnnieBeale1 Shocking! They are so daring as they continuously do it anyway even after being caught. These are people who apparently pass an enhanced DBS and then become corrupt thereafter? In all LAs' housing and education are big business, at the expense of the most vulnerable.
@AnnieBeale1 As for Hackney, not just schools, let's talk about housing services. Whistleblowers have talked about corruption when allocating homes and how questionable people get up the ladder without priorities. Sadly, the corruption from the early 2000s is still rampant.
@AnnieBeale1 Unfortunately, Hackney has set a precedent to convert all except one of its schools to academies. Haringey are following closely with only 5 of its schools remaining under the LA, with one in substantial debt, deficit balance of £700,000. Might be sold off to a MAT for £1 soon.
@AnnieBeale1 Bots & fake participants are all here. Scrutiny Committee fiasco only looked at MVPA and not MCA. Demographics and rich parents need more protection supposedly. Let us normal public add to the numbers of reports for the scrutiny committee but concerns abt MCA are not investigated
@AdamHighcliffe as they are each benefitting and their children unrealistically propelled, they serve as Mossbourne's cheerleading squad. No ethics, full of self centred and egotistical propelling. Mossbourne identifies them to serve its purpose from the day their children walk into Y7.
@AdamHighcliffe they were never sanctioned and they are picked out of a few differing demographics to cover up Mossbourne's racism and class differentiation. These parents are traitors to the most vulnerable and even to their own communities. They each know about the abuses within school but
@AdamHighcliffe into reception and demand to see a member of SLT. That staff would come running to see them despite having to be teaching a class at that very moment. Their kids were given access to exam questions and answers before these exams took place, they were unreasonably rewarded
@AdamHighcliffe I looked through that list of 300. I know many of them as their kids were in my kids cohorts. I will say this as an eye witness. No matter how bad or menacing their kids were, no matter how racist or violent towards others they were, they got away with it. Their parents would
@JohnDCaudwell@bphillipsonMP, Imagine a world where every child experiences a daily act of kindness.
With your support, every UK child could take The Kindness Matters 30-Day Challenge, and we could inspire a movement of compassion that transforms young lives. Will you join me?
As a SENDCO, you need to know what is going on in class. You need to make sure students are receiving quality-first teaching. You need to be able to diagnose where this isn’t happening so you can support teachers to develop their practice.

They try to silence us, they try to discredit us. They’re going to fail, every time.
Why? .. For us, it’s personal and we will fight every step of the way for our children’s voice to be heard. We are their only voice and hope! #FindYourTribe#StrongerTogether 👇
@Hyattmc1507 Spot on. That's the reason I believe state schools are better in practising this considerate and empathetic approach. All they required was better funding from the government to be able to support children from all backgrounds and abilities, not getting rid of our schools.
@StuartLock@e5crookedbillet @LBehrG @greeborunner@greg_ashman@AnnaFazack1 The police openly stated to me that MCA are very closed to the authorities. If they need police to manage unruly pupils, only then do they open the doors to interventions. Otherwise, they are very closed off.
@StuartLock@e5crookedbillet @LBehrG @greeborunner@greg_ashman@AnnaFazack1 They did welfare checks on my child. They attempted numerous times to interview the staff members who were reported but the school got their hot shot solicitors in to stop police interviews of staff and interventions.
@Hyattmc1507 They are moving towards reverting state schools to academies, sadly. It's unfortunate to turn children's education into corporate profit making. The most vulnerable and those with SEND are the ones most compromised and at risk of deterioration to their progress and wellbeing.
