@ApoloJedi_@5Solas A verse that causes them much grief is Revelation 22:20. (They have yet to โupdateโ this in their most current version of the NWT).
They acknowledge that Jesus was prayed to, which they also acknowledge as a form of worship.
@Truth_En_Love@5Solas Yes, they have. Their adding Jesus is โaโ God creates an even larger problem - ask โWas Jesus a true God or a false God?โ since theyโve now calling Him a God.
Iโve heard the saying that โGod gives his toughest battles to his toughest soldiers.โ But when I see the disciples that Jesus chose and suffered for His name sake, I donโt see Him choosing the โtoughest soldiersโ, as I learn about men and women in the past and even today who have laid down their lives for Jesus, once again I donโt see God choosing His โtoughest soldiers.โ But I see a strong and mighty God choosing weak men and woman, and empowering them by His Holy Spirit to face some of the toughest battles and be used for His glory.
I once thought I was a โtough soldierโ until I met Jesus, I then realized that Iโm so weak without Him, and apart from Jesus I canโt do anything. I need Jesus daily. The only way that I can truly become who God wants me to be and truly do what God wants me to do, is not by my power not by my might, but only by The Spirit of The Living God. Thank you Jesus.
