Thank you to Rep. Chris Lopez for championing the extension of the Pinal County Temporary Groundwater and Irrigation Efficiency Projects Fund in the budget, permitting the funds to be used for groundwater and irrigation efficiency projects through 2030. This extension provides much needed financial certainty to Pinal County irrigation districts and Pinal County Ag as the districts prepare for a future without Colorado River water. .@GovernorHobbs signed SB1367, which shortens the amount of time from 7 to 3 years that a state agency can use a criminal conviction to deny someone an occupational license, along with other changes that make it easier for people with criminal records to get licenses.
