⠀ he held out one hand;
⠀ uncertain, afraid, bittersweet feelings
⠀ tangled around his heart. he felt love,
⠀ a bond like he's never had before.
⠀ he wanted to feel it 𝐨𝐧𝐞 𝐥𝐚𝐬𝐭 𝐭𝐢𝐦𝐞.
⠀
⠀
⠀ he gives her a silent response,
⠀ head tilting to one side before one
⠀ of the tiny hands started playing
⠀ with a lock of her hair; he felt
⠀ a somehow familiar feeling in her
⠀ although never meeting before,
⠀ but was she understanding him?
⠀ in the cockpit next to din's
⠀ seat, the kid just allowed himself
⠀ to be lulled by the sound of
⠀ tranquility, shivering from time
⠀ to time in absence of his blanket.
⠀ he could be so serene only in
⠀ his caretaker's presence.

⠀ the night fell fast, barely recognizable
⠀ in the dark planet they were currently
⠀ staying at, but grogu's heavy eyelids
⠀ were enough for him to know that it
⠀ was time to sleep; sitting ㅡ
⠀ the familiar feeling she gave him
⠀ didn't go unnoticed as grogu most
⠀ immediately reached out to hold two
⠀ fingers of hers with one hand,
⠀ cooing while his eyes wouldn't stop
⠀ staring into hers; he stepped towards
⠀ her to get closer.
⠀ quietly resting in her arms, grogu
⠀ decided to babble to her about the
⠀ giant tree he saw earlier that day,
⠀ whom he tried to speak to but with
⠀ no results and reminding her just how
⠀ hungry he was; big, watery eyes
⠀ scrutinizing around.
“Bone broth. . .”
She said with a smile, confirming his choice.
“Then I better get to it. Come, little one.”
And off she strode toward her ship to make him food.
⠀ he reaches out to her now with both
⠀ clawed hands, a little pick up would've
⠀ been appreciated but he didn't have
⠀ many other ways to make himself
⠀ understandable; “ 𝒎𝒖𝒉? „ he babbles,
⠀ sensing a good feeling in her.
⠀ wandering around was something
⠀ that could've never been changed
⠀ of him, but the worlds were still so
⠀ big and mysterious for him to make
⠀ too many steps alone; he babbles and
⠀ looks up at him, one hand reaching
⠀ the edge of his helmet.
he was wondering where the child had run off too, it’s nice to see he’s returned safely to his side ...
he’s finally leaning down, lifting him with ease and settling him in one arm.
