On Monday, May 6, 2024, the Borough will be evaluating a small area of the sewer system generally consisting of sanitary sewers along Biddeford Road and Stratford Road. It is anticipated this work will take 1 or 2 days.

The next Council Working Session is 7p on April 23rd at the Avalon Firehall. Council will  begin to copyedit and address outstanding items in the current zoning ordinance draft in order to prepare a revised draft for public review. These meetings are open to the public.

In order for DLC to take down the tree on Ben Avon Heights Rd., they will require the power to be shut off. Further updates to follow.

Today we celebrate President of Council Al Cuteri’s 25 Years of Service to the Borough. A few of his many accomplishments were: Borough Financial Stability, Developing a Multi-Municipality Comprehensive Plan, and Repaving all the Roads in the Borough. Thank you Al!

A glass recycling station is located in Ross Twp. at 225 Cemetery Lane and is open seven days a week during daylight hours for anyone. All colors of glass bottles, jugs and jars that have been rinsed clean are accepted.
