My last post on this topic:
Why the fuck is TMZ and US politicians even discussing what a washed up YouTuber and his wife are doing? That’s rhetorical of course. Because it was a Masonic ritual to garner fame.
@Tac0_B3lle This is all speculation.
But, it surely does seem so. Especially how he constantly reframes about how his wife feels, and never explicitly owns his own personal feelings.
@Not_the_Chode@LaNativePatriot Yup, sacrifice of the first child to moloch for fame.
Garnered so much attention, even the Speaker of the House commented on it.
Absolutely watch and see the Ridgeway’s become even more successful once we move on.
@FortySevenand2@TheBabylonBibi How people don’t realize this was literally that, is fascinating. He literally got the fame he desired, just not in the way he wanted.
There’s plenty of point though. The clarification was necessary enough because my issue isn’t with the termination. It’s how it was done publicly.
Using Moloch, and ritualistic sacrifice as metaphors for the way the influencer handled this, and chose to virtue signal to double down, is the only reason why im using these themes and concepts.
@AliArthPainter In a general sense, yes. I am pro choice.
But the conversation stems from the influencer. Publicly handling this the way they did, even metaphorically (which I do dance around that word liberally) is ritualistic in nature.
A quick aside: Be careful where you source your information online, whether it’s disturbing propaganda accounts, AI, ragebait fear mongerers,…we’re living in a complicated time and authenticity and empathy will be the most important currencies of the future.
Anyway, I can’t wait to see all these words get minced and twisted again so people can grow their followings and stir outrage. It’s a natural ecosystem after all, bottom-feeders have to get their meal too!
Hopefully, our story has inspired others to open up more and we can all find understanding. At the end of the day, I’m grateful that the discourse about our decision has spread so wide, it’s clearly a very important and sensitive topic, one that we need to pay more attention to.
Thank you to everyone who has been supportive during this difficult time and defending our choice as parents. It means more than you’ll ever know. ❤️
Also, my wife is a bad-ass. Not only did she go through this trauma, but she’s dealing with all the freaks on the Internet in stride. Love you babe. Let’s look to the future! 👶🏼
