Daily BART commuter. Finding humor in little things while bathing in handsanitizer. What's that smell? Oh... Just BART. #ThisIsOurReality#BARTlife#BARTshade
There is a group of small children singing “ring around the Rosie”... on the train... at 8am... on repeat. 😳 I haven’t had nearly enough caffeine to handle this shit. *loudly requests Beyoncé*
So... I get on my train... the car is almost empty (super weird)... and out of 30 open seats... random woman decides that the seat next to me is the one she wants. 😳 damn girl... I need space. 😒
My @sfbart train operator sounds like @barackobama... it makes me feel a peace I haven’t felt in 2 years... and at the same time, makes me want to cry. 😭
Did y’all happen to not see the WHITE couple that was clearly under the influence and sleeping it off? They also appear to be homeless. No? Of course not, y’all just saw a homeless man of color and thought to yourselves, “He makes me uncomfortable, he must go.”
And yet again, @sfbart has halted my commuter train to remove a sleeping homeless person. The train is not full. There is plenty of room. All he was doing was sleeping, like many of the passengers this morning. What was his crime? Being homeless.
Another glorious morning on this woefully Dirty @sfbart train... where someone took it upon themselves to delay everyone’s commute... just to remove a “blight” in their perfect lives.
Dear #urbanadventurecamp... BART trains are not School Buses. Filling the train with loud children during commute hours... how do you sleep at night? Also- teach these damn kids some manners.
I hate that it’s illegal for the homeless to merely exist. Yet another example of @SFBART being completely tone deaf to the struggles that marginalized communities face.
Yet again, @SFBART police is delaying everyone’s commute... just to remove a harmless homeless person from the train. 🤬 He was just sitting there quietly, not taking up space... yet some asshole called the cops.
For the next week I won’t be on BART... because I will be cycling 545 miles in AIDS/LifeCycle! https://t.co/x147XC8U7F (guess y’all know who I am now! Oops!)
Also, it’s Bike to Work day... so I have my bike with me on the train for the first time! However, I’m getting lots of awkward stares because of the spandex... also, doing squats on the train might not be helping
