Analysis of 8,103 Voters Removed from New Jersey Rolls in One Week Amid System Downtime

Citizens for NJ Election Integrity conducted an independent analysis of publicly available New Jersey voter registration and voter history files, obtained through the Open Public Records Act (OPRA), comparing the statewide voter rolls as of July 31, 2026 with the statewide voter rolls on August 7, 2026. It has been determined that 8,103 voters were removed from the rolls during this 7-day time span. The removals occurred during a period when the state voter registration system was reported offline.

Key findings:

- Of the 8,103 removed voters, 2,214 (27.3%) had previously voted.
- In addition, there were 27,216 voter history records related to the 2,214 removed voters DELETED from the state’s voter history files. The average number of elections that each removed voter participated in is 12.
- For context, the average number of voter removals over the prior six months was approximately 8,478 per month. The 8,103 removals in roughly one week represent a clear acceleration compared with the recent monthly average.

Is this really the American way when it comes to dealing with the IRGC?

If this message is aimed at voters, I can understand it. Many people are not informed about what the IRGC is, what it has done, or the danger it represents.

But if this message is aimed at thoughtful and informed people, then let me say this:

We did not give the Nazis money before defeating them. We did not negotiate with them and ask them to behave better. We defeated them first, and only after Germany was free from that regime did we help rebuild the country.

History teaches us that peace does not come from funding or empowering dangerous regimes. Peace comes from stopping those who spread terror and violence, and then helping people rebuild afterward.

That is the lesson we learned from the fight against Nazism, and it should not be forgotten today.

I have always respected you, and I will continue to do so. However, with all due respect, I believe you also need to respect the intelligence of the American people and not treat us as if we are fools.

When sanctions on the IRGC are lifted, it means billions of dollars will flow back to the regime. That money can be used to strengthen its military capabilities, purchase new aircraft, expand its naval forces, and increase cash flow throughout the system. Under previous proposals, Iran could also maintain and improve its ballistic missile program.

More importantly, a significant portion of that money is likely to end up in the hands of Iran’s proxies—Hezbollah, the Houthis, and various militias in Iraq and elsewhere. These groups have spent decades destabilizing the region and threatening American allies.

We should also never forget that the IRGC and its proxies have American blood on their hands. The attack in Beirut that killed 241 U.S. service members remains one of the deadliest attacks against Americans overseas.

Please do not become like so many politicians who change their positions for political convenience. Speak honestly and consistently, even when it is difficult.

With all my respect, I simply cannot accept the argument that empowering the IRGC financially will lead to greater security or peace.

I'm a day one Trump supporter. I have never wavered.

I've been on the Iran portfolio for the better part of a decade. These people cannot be trusted. They are the very definition of evil.

I can't believe this day has arrived where we are lifting oil sanctions and unfreezing billions hoping they change their behavior just months after these monsters killed +40,000 of their own unarmed people in cold blood.

To my Iranian brothers and sisters - I am speechless but now I know how the Holocaust happened. The world knew Jews were being slaughtered but everyone looked the other way. Now the world is not just looking away, they are rewarding the Regime's war crimes.
