(2/2) FFXIV gives you tons of engaging content to do whether you are playing solo or not and that gives you the kind of freedom you can get lost in. You can meaningfully progress without being in a discord and I think that diversity is important.

Honestly I feel like the reason ffxiv is becoming a refuge for former WOW players is because they understand that a lot of players play mmos to be able to show their character off to others, not necessarily to PLAY with them. (1/2)
