Nestlé has also impoverished coffee farmers in Chiapas through their Nescafé scheme — pushing farmers to grow robusta coffee but not paying enough to even cover the costs of growing the coffee!

And Nestlé currently is refusing to bargain with Colombian workers represented by the union SINALTRAINAL!

For anyone unaware, Blue Bottle is wholly owned by Nestlé. Nestlé’s push for growth is the reason why we’re constantly overworked, understaffed, and underpaid.

We deserve better, and are taking on Nestlé by fighting for a living wage!!

Since we’ve unionized though, Nestlé has:
— hired the second largest union-busting firm in the U.S. to represent Blue Bottle
— fired one of our organizers
— and is now closing their highest grossing location for unnecessary renovations
