#walkupandout Stricter gun laws, ban semiautomatic weapons, stronger focus on mental illness, and just be kind! All of the above and we just may have something!
Thank you for everybody who showed up today!!
It shows the change our generation is pushing to make, we won't let others bring us down

@rachelheldevans Some schools weren’t allowing walkouts so students did this to try to still show respect to the Parkland individuals who died. How dare you discredit their actions.
@rachelheldevans In no way has anyone associated from the movement said students are responsible for the mental health of their peers and it’s gross assumptions like this that are the problem. You should be ashamed of yourself for making kids feel bad for choosing one movement over another. Shame
@rachelheldevans That’s actually not what it asks them to do. As a high school teacher, I see students every day who are so self involved they don’t take the time to notice anyone else. This movement just asks them to stop and take a moment to notice others.
@redhotbatman@bbchs307 I just think it’s a little ironic that the music Dept didn’t get a musical sendoff from the music Dept... Coaches email to ask for that. It just needs to be requested... Just a thought.
@redhotbatman@bbchs307 It’s up to the sponsor to request a sendoff. Admin does not organize them. And actually, Dr. Wright brought in lunch for all of the music students before they left.
@redhotbatman@bbchs307 Actually Dr Wright ordered them in lunch before they left. Admin doesn’t organize the send offs. Coaches request them. If the music dept wanted one, they could have requested it and it would have been done. Admin has nothing to do with it.
Thank you to all those who brought in toys today. The Toy Drive is all week long so keep bringing in what you have to your 7th Hour!! Tomorrow is Page-Turning Tuesday, so bring in books for extra points!!!!
