Bottom line first. Per the National Institutes of Health:
"Patients who have undergone gender-affirming surgery are associated with a significantly elevated risk of suicide, highlighting the necessity for comprehensive post-procedure psychiatric support."

1. Trump is paying for half of the Whitehouse ball room upgrade out of his own pocket.
2. Upgrading the ballroom means they won't have to pitch circus tents on the Whitehouse grounds anymore to hold State events, such as big dinners and such.
3. Funding "gender-affirming healthcare" (trans surgery) that saves young people's lives" is a *Big F'n Lie*.
4. 'Gender affirming surgery destroys a human being's natural body including hormone composition to fulfill their desire to be the other sex. If an adult wants to do that, it's their responsibility to fund it and deal with the consequences - not US taxpayers.
But children under 18 (I'd prefer 21...) *MUST* be protected by the government *and* the People from undergoing 'gender affirming treatment' of any sort; including protection from the people who advocate such pedophilic barbarism.
