@ToddTTV@tavernanovo@TheNYRA Cool. To understand anyone it just takes a world about sitting down at long tables. Not my words, thanks to chef Jose Andres.
And here it is…@hmlaa you’ve touched on what TVG & @FanDuel TV was always supposed to be about. A communal place for those of us who love horse racing to gather, while simultaneously bringing in New Fans. From this foundation an audience was built and a connection made. What’s extremely gratifying is to see Fans like you paying these experiences you’ve had with TVG ‘forward’. You and countless others have become Ambassadors for Horse Racing. This Industry needs you, and all of us, to wear that mantle more than ever.
June 30th will dim the lights greatly on the TVG Legacy, and eventually the lights of a traditional Television Presentation under this banner will be turned off Forever. However there will always be an incandescence whenever TVG is mentioned, kept alive by the remembrances so many have shared on this platform and in-person.
And as this phase has come to pass, I know from all my experiences while I was with TVG, there is no more important Thank You that should and could be offered, than to the Viewers. And in this case ‘viewers’ is an all-encompassing word, because not everyone watched for the same reason; but the point is, you did watch. 27 years was made possible in part by countless untold stories of dedication and hard work behind the scenes, but the most important story was always yours. Thank You for taking time out of your Life to watch and listen to the innumerable fascinating stories from Horse Racing as told on TVG.
One quick final thought, TVG is now a seminal moment on a time-line for the Media Landscape in Horse Racing that ‘was’. Having participated and seen up close the vast resources @FOXSports has committed to Horse Racing through its partnership with @TheNYRA , I’m confident there are seminal moments and lots of exciting times ahead on the Media Landscape for this Sport we Love 🤓
