Did we just read..."decision day"....for a player that is playing....on a team....in the middle of the season?

[Pete Nakos @PeteNakos]

College football in 2026: Oregon State star WR Jesse Legree is hosting a "decision day" event at his high school, St. Frances Academy, in the middle of the season.

Beavers are on bye week. He leads the nation in receiving yards.

@MaacTheft Sure, all valid reasons. I hear ya.

You'd have to hope that the Metro actually forces them to make investments to improve the product on and off the court.

[Bracket Busters @BBustersHoops]

Solid move here for both Le Moyne and The Metro.

Makes sense for both sides.

[Pete Thamel @PeteThamel]

Sources: Le Moyne College is on the cusp of joining The Metro Conference in all sports starting in 2027-28. The sides are deep in discussions with The Metro (formerly the MAAC), and a deal is expected to come together in the near future. Le Moyne is leaving the NEC.

[Bracket Busters @BBustersHoops]

With someone like Fairfield leaving, it's evident that The Metro wants to maintain a certain number of members in the conference. Especially considering they are probably adding one more to round it out to 14 teams next year.

Le Moyne has a solid endowment, especially in comparison to several teams in the conference as well.

I do understand people don't want it to just...become the NEC, but out of their options it's not the worst move.

[Pete Thamel @PeteThamel]

NEWS: James Madison has accepted membership to the American conference. https://t.co/Lm4Ex1OBo6

[Ethan Alexander @HoopsSicko]

I've watched the Duke v. Belmont exhibition twice, a game between a national contender and one of the best teams in my home-conference.

I took notes on how each team performed and how individual players looked in their first minutes of the 2026-27 season.
