Spent some time watching Ben Pearce film today. PnR maestro who can make complex reads in stride. Great pocket passer. Floater in his bag. Had a down shooting year last year, but has been great shooter for career.

Should be an All-Metro guy for Manhattan

@GoRomano Exactly

[Sam Federman @Sam_Federman]

Two things can be true

- Le Moyne doesn’t elevate the league (right now)
- They probably couldn’t have done better

I wasn’t certain that expansion was necessary, but I understand the idea that you’d rather be safe than sorry. I personally would’ve been fine sticking at 12 (or even 11 if somebody drops)

[Marcus @M_Harazin]

@Sam_Federman Do you think it was a good call for the Metro to add Le Moyne or do you think they could’ve done better?

[Mid-Major Madness @mid_madness]

Which mid-majors have the most expensive rosters?

@MattNorlander gave us some insight. We did some aggregating.

The answer won’t surprise you. https://t.co/RzLSrgbXuM

Some more info in here from @ccarlsononSU on Le Moyne joining the Metro.

Le Moyne's move to the Metro Conference is a big win for the school. It will require the school to invest more in its basketball programs. https://t.co/0ejSLkIJYQ

For the first time since 1991, two teams who ranked in the bottom half of MLB are meeting in the World Series. That is happening right before a bruising labor fight over a salary cap makes it all the more interesting.

Former Stag speaking on the differences between Boston and NY

[Trevor Hass @TrevorHass]

Brandon Benjamin: "I feel like Boston is just a cleaner version of New York. I'm walking around and I feel like a lot of people are more excited to be in Boston. You can feel the energy, the vibe. You’re more welcome to come in."

CHRISTIAN BARMORE!!

[Sam Federman @Sam_Federman]

Looking at EADA data, Le Moyne spent just over $300,000 in operating expenses for men's basketball in 2024-25. That would've ranked ahead of only Rider in the Metro Conference. AD Phil Brown is confident that number will rise

“We know we can get there."

[Sam Federman @Sam_Federman]

Le Moyne AD Phil Brown said that the Metro was not looking for a firm commitment on opting into the House vs. NCAA Settlement. But will the Dolphins opt in?

“Never say never.”

Maybe the real meaning of Amari Odom’s time as Syracuse’s starting QB was the friends we made along the way

[Javon Edmonds @javonedmonds45]

Fran Brown says on his radio show that Malachi Nelson had tight-rope surgery for a high ankle sprain and will miss a few weeks. Amari Odom is out for the season after undergoing shoulder surgery. Steve Angeli is the guy again.
