📝4⃣ Aden Baldwin #BCAFC

Our fourth signing of the season - the 26 year old joins from Notts County, having won promotion from the National League with them in 22/23. In total he has appeared 79 times for Notts.

#BCAFC With Taylor, Tomkinson, Odusina and Platt all leaving, I understand focusing our recruitment on centre backs early on.

But with Stubbs, Kelly, Byrne, Johnson and Baldwin, I imagine we might now shift our focus to other areas.

Who would be your first choice back 3?

Baldwin may have been signed to fill the role of the ball-playing centre back, but Notts County conceded 86 goals this season, so perhaps a risk for defensive solidity.

#BCAFC I could see Callum predominantly being played as the right centre-back in our back 3, as well as offering cover for Halliday.

He's over 6ft, strong in the air and has 75%+ pass accuracy (Source: FOTMOB), so could certainly work in that role.

Any thoughts on this signing?

📝3⃣ Callum Johnson #BCAFC

Our third signing of the season is the 27 year old Callum Johnson, from Mansfield, who he helped to automatic promotion last season. He has also won promotion from League 2 with Accrington Stanley and has 48 appearances for Portsmouth in League One.
