Because of Bill C18, Meta blocked the previous @evolution1079 Facebook page, even though we appealed that we don't fit the criteria of a news outlet.

So, we started a new page where our students will share their work as part of their practicum and two media lab courses.

I am horrified to see the fires in West Kelowna and know that the media, including a number of BCIT Radio A&E alumni, are working hard to keep the community informed.

I am thinking of them, the firefighters, and everyone else affected by the terrible situation. 🙏
