In my 25 years writing about labor, the unionization victory at the Amazon warehouse in Staten Island is by far the biggest, beating-the-odds David versus Goliath unionization win I've seen

As workers who fight to advance and defend democracy every day, we formed our union to further that mission. We’re so proud of UAW members for pushing the national union in that same direction. #1M1V to make leadership more representative & equitable: https://t.co/3bXl7uXuD3
"As you celebrate this Labor Day...remember all those generations of Americans that this day was created to recognize. All those workers who have delved into and carved out a country that remains a beacon of accomplishments"

"To his dying day, Richard Trumka understood working men and women in this country are indispensable and are the engine that drives our economy and our communities." https://t.co/9CCQYUJhlp
We’ve been so encouraged by the outpouring of support from other unions and like-minded peers! As we move forward in navigating the voluntary recognition process with organization management, we're all keeping in mind that 2021 is definitely time for #hotunionsummer

BIG NEWS🎉: This morning, we were notified that @BrennanCenter management has reached out to our reps @NOLSW2320 to begin the voluntary recognition agreement process! We are so excited to move forward and are really pleased by the quick response from the executive team.
