Tender rejections - history does repeat.

Tender rejections are following the same trajectory as in 2019, which is a bullish sign for the end of the year and headed into 2025.

The trucking market follows particular patterns. There are advanced signals and trailing ones. It's important to know what moves first and what follows.

First to move: Tender rejections (tender rejections measure the percentage of truckloads that are "tendered" from shippers to carriers).

An increase in tender rejections means they have better options for their capacity; a decrease will mean they are losing optionality.

Tender rejections are the first to move (blue), then trucking spot rates (yellow). The lead time can be a few weeks to a few months. 1/
