@StevenPeakeKSR UK is in the middle of its 2nd longest stretch w/out a FF. 1998-2011 is the longest...13 years. It's now been 11 years since 2015 FF. Other long stretches: 84-93, 66-75 and 58-66.
@StevenPeakeKSR If all of these teams played the exact same # of games then this would be more meaningful. UK has highest win%, by 3%, which is the better metric
@JonRothstein Cool nuggets I thought I'd share about tomorrow's Arizona/BYU game. Zona is seeking the program's 2000th win with BYU sitting at 1981 AT wins. BYU likely to pass N Dame (1986 wins) this season.
UCONN moving up the AT wins ladder:
UCONN 24th on the AT wins list (1881) is likely to surpass W Virginia (1887) and possibly Washington (1890) this season, which would make them 22nd overall.
Big game tomorrow as #1 Arizona (20-0) travels to #13 BYU (17-2). Other notable nuggets from this matchup:
Arizona is seeking the program's 2,000th all-time win, which is 9th overall with 1,999
BYU seeking its 1,982nd win all-time (12th overall).
@LAimee76 Ya know the saying, "its hard to beat a team 3 times." I got to thinking....is it really?
Did you know that 67 times this season a team played an opponent (in conf tournaments) whom they previously beat twice (in reg season). All 67 teams won....67-0. Saying debunked
Teams UK has a losing record to in NCAAT:
Marquette: 4-6
Ohio St: 1-5
UCONN: 0-3
UNC: 1-3
Mich. St: 1-3
St. John's: 1-2
UAB: 1-2
Decent chance we play one of those schools.
