"Russia has no military, economic or political potential to attempt a large-scale offensive anywhere in Ukraine.”

🇫🇮🇷🇺 FINLAND SHUTS THE DOOR ON NORMAL RELATIONS WITH PUTIN’S RUSSIA
Finnish Foreign Minister Elina Valtonen has made Helsinki’s position unmistakable: Finland will not restore political ties with Moscow or act as a mediator in Russia’s war against Ukraine.
“We are and will remain on the side of Ukraine.”
Valtonen stressed that Russia started the war and could end it immediately, but continues to escalate instead.
She also wants Europe to tighten restrictions on Russian visitors, including former combatants and tourists, arguing that ordinary travel cannot be treated as business as usual while Ukrainian civilians face nightly attacks.
“Russia keeps people awake and kills families in their homes. Russians visiting European beaches can’t be happening.”
The EU has already adopted another sanctions package and is preparing further measures, with Finland pushing for additional pressure.
Yet Valtonen also defended diplomatic engagement aimed at ending the fighting. She said a recent call with Putin followed talks in Oslo and was coordinated with Ukraine and the United States.
Her position draws a distinction between negotiating to end the war and restoring normal relations with the country that launched it.
Finland is prepared to support diplomacy, but not at the expense of Ukraine’s sovereignty or its own policy toward Moscow.
October 31 is a day Sergey Lavrov will never forget. Not because of Halloween, but because, according to reports, Russia's foreign minister received a humiliating diplomatic dressing-down at a G20 meeting.
British officials reportedly confronted Lavrov over Russia's brutal war against Ukraine, accusing Putin of aggression and condemning Russian drone attacks on Ukrainian civilians.
The message was unmistakable: Ukraine's courage remains extraordinary, European support will continue, and Russia must not be allowed to finance its war through oil and gas revenues.
The final humiliation reportedly came when European ministers refused to pose for the traditional G20 family photograph alongside Lavrov.
After traveling for more than 20 hours because of restrictions on Russian aircraft, Lavrov allegedly found himself isolated, publicly condemned, and unwelcome.

Zelensky: “The United States cannot stand with Putin because he is the aggressor. America and its president cannot side with an aggressor while claiming to lead the democratic world.”
America cannot claim to defend freedom while giving Putin a free pass for destroying it. Democracy is not just something Washington preaches to the world. It is something its leaders must defend when it matters most.
Meloni Refuses to End Support for Ukraine: “I Understand I May Lose Votes, but I Will Not Change My Position.”
Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni has made a firm statement amid growing debates over military assistance to Kyiv, rising living costs, and increased defense spending.
In an interview for journalist Bruno Vespa's new book, History of the Second Republic, scheduled for release on November 2, the Italian prime minister acknowledged that supporting Ukraine could cost her some voters.
“I fully understand that our support for Ukraine may come at a political cost. That even among our own voters, there are people who disagree with it. But I have no intention of changing my position.”
Meloni emphasized that her decisions are guided primarily by Italy's national interests.
“I support Ukraine not simply for the sake of Ukrainians. I do it for Italy.”
According to Meloni, an international order in which military force alone determines what is right poses a serious threat to her country.
She urged people to consider the consequences of a possible Ukrainian defeat.
“If we had allowed Ukraine to be easily conquered, could we really be certain that Moscow would stop there rather than move further?”
Meloni also addressed the possibility of Russia attacking a NATO member state. In such a scenario, she explained, NATO allies would face a choice between responding militarily and effectively abandoning their collective defense commitments, potentially threatening the very existence of the Alliance.
“I support Ukraine because all the other scenarios are potentially even more frightening,” the prime minister stated.
She also praised the resistance of Ukrainian society, describing it as an expression of patriotism.
“There is a people, a history, an identity that refuse to be destroyed. I would call that patriotism. And as a woman of the political right, I cannot help but admire it.”
Her remarks come amid disagreements within Italy's governing coalition. Matteo Salvini, leader of the League party, has previously called for an end to further military and financial assistance to Ukraine, while Meloni continues to insist on supporting Kyiv.
🚨 Macron has given BIG SHOCK to Trump.
🇫🇷 French President Macron silently offered Germany co-production on the SAMP air defense system alternative to the US Patriot. 🔥
No more dependency on Trump 🔥
Macron silently DITCHING him.
I received a report – we carried out two missile strikes, destroying two Russian Su-34s and hitting an Iskander launcher. Thank you, guys, for this result! Another aspect of our anti-ballistic work is the packages of interceptors, primarily for Patriots, that our partners can provide us. They must protect lives. We now have intel about the Russians preparing new ballistic missile attacks. We need the capabilities to shoot down this Russian evil and are awaiting the decisions. Thank you to everyone who really helps us!
🇺🇦 Budanov:
For every victim in Ukraine, Russian military-industrial complex facilities must burn.
I call on Ukraine’s partners to give the aggressor a worthy response to daily terror.
Long-range weapons to suppress Russia’s ability to wage a genocidal war, effective air defense systems to save the lives of Ukrainian civilians – this is what will really bring peace closer.
