‼️ Check out our new video about the Brain Development in Early Epilepsy (BEE) Study! We're recruiting families of children aged between 1 and 12 months to take part and help us learn more about early-onset epilepsy. 🐝 https://t.co/fOKl9JzcyZ
💜 The BEE Study is tracking brain development in babies with early epilepsy to understand how seizures may shape learning and behaviour as they grow.
November is #EpilepsyAwarenessMonth — thank you for helping us raise awareness early 💜
Hi everyone! 🐝
We would like to let you know we are currently inviting families with babies aged under 12 months to take part in our study. Recruitment is open for typically developing babies as well as those with epilepsy. Visit https://t.co/DUfiPq2SXu to find out more!

🐝💜 In support of #WorldPurpleDay 2024, and to bring awareness to epilepsy in young children, here are some statistics and advice on what to do if someone is having a seizure. Find more ways to #SupportEpilepsy, check https://t.co/PmB3r14IwS
Mark your calendars, it's Purple Day on the March 26th! Join us in raising awareness for epilepsy by:
💜 Wearing purple
💜 Baking purple treats
💜Test your knowledge with a quiz night
💜 Hold a raffle
💜 Host a coffee and chat morning
🐝The Brain Development in Early Epilepsy (BEE) team is still recruiting babies with epilepsy as well as typically developing babies under 12-months of age! Visit https://t.co/DUfiPq2SXu to register your interest in participation or email the team at [email protected] 🐝✨

Exciting week for our EDiTS Team who are currently in Birmingham for the Seattle Club Conference.💡 Charlotte is one of the keynote speakers, where she will be sharing what the early development of TSC and epilepsy can tell us about later developmental outcomes! 🧠🌱#TSCresearch
🐝💜#EpilepsyAwarenessMonth 1 in 10 people may have a seizure during their lifetime. If you see someone having a seizure, here is how you can help them! For more details please refer to these links: https://t.co/bYbIrSwy9R

📢 The Early Development in Tuberous Sclerosis (EDiTS) Team are still recruiting families of 3-5 year old children for our study of behaviour and development! 👥🧠 Scan the QR code below if you are interested! https://t.co/IRZdsaOEdF
🐝It's #WorldMentalHealthDay today! Let's start a conversation about how #epilepsy impacts mental health!
It is okay to ask for help! 🙌You can wear a green ribbon today to show your support and show others that they are not alone. 💚
Many of us have learned to bottle things up inside us. It can take a lot of courage to tell someone else how we’re feeling, especially if we don’t usually do that kind of thing.
While we know it isn't easy - there are things that can help. 💚

Our researcher @NatashaLindsay_ was awarded the Vicky H. Whittmore Travel Award at the @tscalliance Research Conference in Washington DC last week for a poster presentation!
Congratulations Natasha! We are so lucky to have you on the team! ✨🐝

Check out the @BEEStudy_: Brain development in Early Epilepsy (BEE) Study! 👇
The UK study aims to track the development of babies 👶 with #epilepsy, in order to understand features that might predict later outcomes. Find out more, here! 👇

It’s #nationalepilepsyweek! The BEE Study team is proud to be part of the research efforts targeted at increasing understanding of development and behaviour in early-onset epilepsy, and working with the epilepsy community to raise awareness! 💜 #EpilepsyMatters#EpilepsyWeek
This week is #NationalEpilepsyWeek and the theme this year is #EpilepsyMatters.
We are delighted to be collaborating with the wider epilepsy community to raise awareness of the impact epilepsy has on people's lives.
Watch this space for more throughout the week 💜
🗣 It's Global TSC Awareness Day 2023 and Mental Health Awareness Week 2023. Around the globe, activities will cover the 1 million people with TSC and the 1 billion with mental health challenges.
🤝 All this week we're highlighting TSC and it's impact on mental health.
Another great highlight from #INSAR2023: PhD candidate @_MaryAgyapong discusses language, visual attention to faces and temporal frequency in infants with an elevated familial likelihood for autism and ADHD.
Another #INSAR2023 recap: @NatashaLindsay_ presented a poster which used @EDiTS_Study data to characterise early vocabulary, verbal and nonverbal communicative abilities in infants with TSC and its association with autistic traits at 24 months old #autism#TSC
As part of the panel: “ Using Electrophysiology to Derive Translational Phenotypes in Genetic Models of Autism”, @NatashaLindsay_ presents engaging work by @CharlotteRTye’s on TSC infant’s neural sensitivity to eye gaze, and its association with early autistic traits! #INSAR2023
The @BEEStudy_ is inviting families with infants under 10 months of age with focal seizures and/or infantile spasms to take part in research on development and behaviour in early-onset epilepsy. Find out more here: https://t.co/r7yNYUDtmT
