@cottenpup @MSRegiGirl@WatchYourRepsMN@JoshFeibus It’s easy to feel hopeless and cynical when facing injustice. I get it. Just imagine how the people in Ukraine feel right now. But those of us committed to human rights for all will keep fighting wherever we are, no matter the odds, as did those we owe our current freedoms to.
Wired tweeted this to its 10 million followers and it has under 50 retweets - presumably suppressed due to the link out. "These plans for militia activity in the wake of the US election are not from a private conversation on an encrypted platform. It was unfolding on a public Facebook profile."
@jason_kint I read the piece. He is wrong. It’s not principled for a news organization to stay neutral on truth versus lies. It’s not principled for a beacon of the free press to take no stand on democracy vs. fascism. Staying neutral in the face of evil erodes trust. Please do better.

@Stop_Just_Stahp@RachelBitecofer @chelanbytahoe This chart shows the obvious reality here. Dems have a psychological warfare / propaganda problem, not a policy problem. I’m surprised that Rachel of all people doesn’t see this.
@RachelBitecofer @chelanbytahoe This is driven almost entirely by targeted propaganda. There will be a “border crisis” whenever Dems are in office because that’s how fascists gain power. If there’s one thing I’ve learned in the past 30 years, it’s that facts have very little bearing on what the public believes.
@RachelBitecofer Seriously? What Biden admin policy change would have made any difference? Right wing propagandists will say immigrants are flooding the country regardless of reality and their viewers will believe it. This is how fascism works.
Colleagues, I’m not trying to be rude, I promise, but please stop doing this. It is not helping. It is hurting. Whatever engagement you get from texts like these is far outweighed by voters being repulsed. I say again: please stop doing this.
@cmclymer Are these spam links actually legit? My phone is getting DDOSed with messages like this containing random donation URLs. I’ve been reporting them as fraud to FTC because they link to domains I’ve never interacted with.
Puzzled by VP Harris holding a rally during peak voting season in Houston, the largest city in Texas?
Let's run the numbers.
Houston, in Harris County, has 2,693,055 eligible voters. The next-largest Texas county, Dallas, has 1,467,410 voters.

@malinda_taylor1@byBDavis Maybe I’m wrong and college students don’t drink alcohol at football games. The important thing here is that your daughter is at a great school. Congrats and hook ‘em!
@protecttruth_ I think you’re right but what’s the profitable alternative for the Times? How can truth outsell propaganda at scale when human attention is so easily hacked?
