@choffstein Arbs don't sell OTM calls. They just run their positions with a higher delta than theo to hedge credit risk. MSTR issues CBs typically around high 30s IV when realized is much much higher. It can go much longer barring a dramatic BTC sell-off (current debt coverage by BTC ~$16k).

@choffstein What Saylor refers to is that MSTR sells equities at a premium to book value and buys bitcoin at spot price. i.e. BTC held grows faster than share count.
