Fans were upset that @twentyonepilots hometown show got eaten up by the secondary, but the data suggests the opposite: Ticketmaster did a very good job getting tickets into fans’ hands.
Only 718 tickets are currently listed on the secondary market against an 84,493 capacity venue.
That’s just 0.8% of capacity.
@mwritesdragons@twentyonepilots I’m pretty sure that has to be in place before you buys the tickets, they can’t change the resell policy after the fact
@jojofor3st@cIancyisdead They also only did a very short US leg for breach meaning a ton of people never got to experience that tour live. Ofc they’d sell this out. You can tell by how few resell tickets there really are.
@jojofor3st@cIancyisdead Scaled and icy had 2 tours, was around COVID, and had no where near the amount of hype and new fans that Clancy and Breach brought in. Breach is there first number 1 album in TEN YEARS.
That’s just how their system works if the seat number isn’t public yet. Example 23AA lights up the whole row if you want 1 ticket and if you select 2 tickets it disappears jfc
@Joshbbrown_ No one seems to understand this. I keep seeing people say entire rows are for sale of seat geek when it would take them literally 2 second to fact check it. Seatgeek highlights the entire row if the seat number isn’t public yet. Most of those “entire rows” are 1 seat available
stub hub and seat geek combined only have 444 listings (some of them are the same listing on both sites).Ohio Stadium is 97k venue when it has concerts. Meaning roughly 96,500-ish people got tickets for the show. It’s not all bots when there are over 100k people in the queue.
@softestbandito Yall are so chronically online you’re misrepresenting the percentage of resellers there actually are. Plenty of fans got tickets we just don’t all go online bragging about it when so many others didn’t. 5% at best are being resold the rest are in the hands of fans.
Highly unpopular take: Why is it so hard for people to believe the boys really sold out Ohio Stadium for a one night only hometown show the entire fandom wanted to go to?
@emswhims1@LavishTylerJ Apologies don’t take away the damage done. One day they’re gonna realize this fandom is so entitled and will never be happy no matter how much they give they’ll stop trying
@LavishTylerJ Literally expecting them not to celebrate such a huge achievement and saying you’ll ruin it for them if they do just bc you didn’t get what you want is such insane behavior
How quick ppl are to turn and point fingers is ridiculous. Yes, bots/scalpers got tickets. Yes, Ticketmaster is a joke. No, it’s NOT the boys fault. But so many fans DID get tickets, and it’s a huge thing for the boys to play there so I hope they do post abt it bc it’s so special
@midwestindig0@adversaiire I’d much rather be in a stadium of fans that are in touch with reality and just enjoy their music than ones who are just there for their socials
@midwestindig0@adversaiire I prefer that tbh sometimes the ones with big online followings seem like they’re entitled to the boys and then judge them so harshly when they don’t get lucky. The fan lines, the ticket master wars, that one fan account that literally stalked them
like i feel like this is an unpopular opinion and dont come for me because i’m upset for everyone but i think the frustration makes u guys think it’s All scalpers when it’s not. the demand is crazy to the point where fans buy those tix for over 1k dollars soo
