A masked U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement agent assaulted a 57-year-old woman, stole her phone, dragged her by the hair, put her in a chokehold, threw her to the ground, then ran away without arresting her or calling for medical help.
This was all caught on video.

The victim, Franci Stagi, was peacefully recording outside an ICE facility in Durango, Colorado during protests sparked by ICE wrongfully arresting a father and his two children on their way to school—an arrest ICE later admitted was a mistake [1][2][3].

Key facts people missed:
• The agent never made an arrest
• No medical aid was provided after she hit her head and neck
• The agent was masked and unidentified
• Local police said they could do nothing because it happened on federal property [1][3]

State and federal investigations were announced. Months later: no charges. No name. No accountability [2][4].

This isn’t law enforcement.
Law enforcement arrests people and renders aid.

This was a federal agent assaulting an older woman and retreating like a coward, shielded by jurisdiction and silence.
