Here is my take on the Mandalorian and Grogu Movie (From a lifelong starwars Nerd) :

Its good, just good. Its a fun action packed star warsy adventure. But this shouldve remained as a television show. Its not meant to be a movie. It doesnt delve into star wars lore, and it doesnt do anything to break ground in storytelling within the universe. Its just a fun good time that general audiences can enjoy.

The problem is that star wars has ruined the IP since the last jedi came out, and quite frankly the sequel trilogy is unforgivable. No matter how much good they do, the fan base cant forgive Disney for how they treated those movies. This is why even though the mandalorian is a good cute movie, audiences aren't showing up to the movies or supporting star wars projects. When I went to see the movie yesterday on Friday May 22nd, only half the theater was full.
Its time to Bring George Lucas back and scrap the sequels. Star wars is too good to be treated as a generic movie flick. #Starwars #Disney #Bringlucasback
