That’s a very different role than “guy who always has the belt and never loses.” Cody’s face/underdog wasn’t meant to have a 5 year run as champ, that’s not his role to be that dominant.

@DystOptimist @JustAlyxCentral I think this take is a little too advanced for the intellect of most fans. I can’t remember watching wrestling during a title reign of the Giant, but I saw him a lot. Given his size, you would never be able to put the belt on anyone else, but that would ruin story.
