@notbot110101@kniggesworld@zo_demalia In the 1901 lounge (where he was) you’re not allowed any football shirts, not even Brighton, since there’s a strict dress code - he was well aware of this and then switched the narrative because he got banned lol
🚨 BREAKING: Tottenham have reached an agreement with Brighton to sign Jan Paul van Hecke for £52m , with no add-ons.
The Luka Vuskovic situation is separate. Brighton had a second bid of £35m rejected.

@AP_1901@Brightonian_ I don’t think there’s a specific age group that doesn’t connect with him, it’s just certain parts of the fanbase that aren’t sold on him - if anything I think young fans connect with him more
@jaysfootball_@mufcforlife1997@JacobsBen@David_Ornstein I can’t justify it, I didn’t make the offer 😭 it’s a silly fee, but Tottenham owners may just accept it due to their incompetence - they’re like old ladies on vinted
I really do have a feeling the other isn’t *just* £30 million, either Van Hecke + £30 million, a buy back option or a FAT sell on clause - but I’m leaning towards the first 2
@InvertTheWing What’s to say he wants to be out on loan? He’d start for us, play European football, and can eventually leave - much more straightforward path then being on loan constantly. Yes, offers an insult, but 30m + van Hecke is fair business
@mufcforlife1997@JacobsBen@David_Ornstein Because if we act as a selling club, we don’t progress - simple as. We have Europe next season, Luka would probably start given Van Hecke leaving, from a footballing perspective, it makes sense. If a deal were to happen it’d be vuskovic comes, JP goes the other way, fair deal
