Today is #askanarchivist day! I’m available to answer any questions you may have about the archives @BHCarrollCenter or archives in general. Let’s do this! @SWBTS
“Do not let down the bars. Stand by the Bible; let nothing infringe upon the teachings of God’s Word, let it be taught as it is. Stand by our Baptist principles until the day is done” - B. H. Carroll, 1914. #ArchivesatBHC@SWBTS@BHCarrollCenter
#OTD in @SWBTS History groundbreaking was celebrated for Price Hall in 1948. Pictured: T. L. Holcolm, Exec Sec of the Sunday School board; J. M. Price; Mrs. B. A. Copass, Pres of WMU; and E. D. Head. Educational ministries students have walked its halls since 1950. #ArchivesatBHC

#OTD in @SWBTS history in 1910, classes opened for the first time on the Fort Worth campus. Driving by FW Hall this morning, I reflected on those students & asked the Lord to guide & bless our current students. We continue to rely on his favor 112 years later. #ArchivesatBHC
Hey @SWBTS and @TXBaptCollege students, stop by the Naylor Student Center after chapel today for the debut of the @BHCarrollCenter Archive Roadshow! I have selected an item to highlight that I think you will enjoy. Hint: This item was born in 1551 & its creator got in some heat.
Ten years ago today, the greatest #evangelism professor in our history finished his race, having fought the good fight and having kept the faith. For those of us privileged to have been his @SWBTS students, Dr. Roy J. Fish left an indelible imprint. Thankful for his #SWBTSLegacy.
Why do we love Fort Worth? Aside from the food, atmosphere, and BBQ of course, we love it because of its rich history. So thanks to @FWTXmag for this reminder of all the people who made FW what it is today, including our own B.H. Carroll!

#OTD in @SWBTS history B. H. Carroll presented to the trustees of Baylor University in 1905 a proposal that the Theology Department of Baylor become a separate free-standing theological seminary, laying the groundwork for Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary. #ArchivesatBHC
Welcome to another week of classes @SWBTS. Let's kick things off with some historical footage of J. M. Price teaching! Dr. Price was the founding dean of the Terry School of Educational Ministries and served from 1915-1956. #ArchiveatBHC@BHCarrollCenter@ncshirley
Every new semester is opened with #SWBTSConvocation, and this Fall 2022 was no different. On Tuesday, @AdamGreenway welcomed his fellow Southwesterners back to campus in a fashion that has now become tradition, with the words of our fifth president, Robert E. Naylor.
Our Fall 2022 #SWBTSConvocation was an incredible time of worship and the Word as we marked the opening of the new academic year at @SWBTS/@TXBaptCollege. Here’s our official news story, but be sure to watch/listen to this special service. https://t.co/iddL9bGhKd
Today is convocation day @SWBTS! It's always exciting to welcome new students and faculty. Our fifth president Robert E. Naylor welcomed students by pronouncing them "Southwesterners," and we look forward to adding to that "worthy and honorable name" today! #ArchivesatBHC
Check out this @SWBTS campus photo during the construction of Cowden Hall, completed in 1926. Note the temporary barracks between Cowden & FW Hall, moved soon after for use by Seminary Hill Baptist Church, now Gambrell Street Baptist. #ArchivesatBHC@BHCarrollCenter@SWBTSMusic
