He is 31 years old 🇳🇬
As a pastor's kid, he served in church daily
He also worked as a bricklayer, cut grass for people laying foundations, and worked in a cold room in Ikorodu Isawo for about 10k naira per month.
Failed WAEC badly (especially Maths) and felt like a disappointment, but that pain pushed him fully into music.
Zlatan used the car he won from Airtel One Mic to carry passengers for survival money after the win.
His parents initially refused the #70-75M Lekki house he bought, fearing "fraud money" which crushed him and made him prove himself
They prayed for 7 full days before accepting the house and made him stay with them. That hurt him initially, but eventually strengthened family bonds
Became a father at 25 to his son Shiloh, born in 2020
Then to his second child and son, Benaiah Oluwaseyitan Amanosi (born around late 2024, turned 1 in late 2025)
Fatherhood made him cry realizing life was now "more serious"
He limited spending and grew up overnight for his sons
Assisted his family as he hustled in early stages, and prioritises them as well.
Sees himself becoming a pastor one day
Was emotional thinking about showing his sons a better life than the life he grew up in.

Now, let me tell you something real quickk
One of the biggest things you can ever do for yourself is to be in touch with where you are coming from
It's going to be like a roadmap that guides you in whatever journey you embark on in life.
Zlatan is a good sibling to his siblings
A good son to his parents
A good companion to his partner (Davita)
And a great father to his sons
All because of one thing..
HE REMEMBERS
He remembers that room he slept in while he was growing up
He remembers that very WAEC result and the recurring uncertainty and shattered clarity that came on him
He didn't despise the days of early beginnings, and that totally shaped his perception on life later on.

.
.
Now for you reading this...
Today, I want you to sit down and think back.
Reconnect with your roots
Remember what you have endured. What you have stomached.
And then look at your life right now.
Have you been using these past events to guide your life?
Have you been extending grace to other people, because you experienced firsthand what it meant to be exactly in their position?
Are you grateful for being in a better place today, than you were many years back?
.
.
Do some reflections today.
Zlatan uses his past as a guide to make better choices in his present.
Perhaps you should too and it just might make your life worth smiling at, every single day🫂
.
.
Thank you very much for reading. Have a great day ahead.
