Wonderful to see everyone's support for the Chagos Islanders Amendment. Thanks @ukhomeoffice for stressing the need to wait for applications to be ready. Honoured to be mentioned by Baroness Lister once again and so thankful for everyone's perseverance❤️🇩🇬

What embarrassed Netanyahu and made him angry in Gaza yesterday?!
On Wednesday, chiefs of Gaza families and tribes secured the passage of aid trucks from Israeli crossing to WFP’s warehouses in Gaza City and northern Gaza. No Israeli fire on starving people was reported!
Meanwhile Israeli-linked gangs could steal 75 aid trucks in the city of Khan Younis under the watch of Israeli occupation forces!
Following to this, Netanyahu and his aides claimed they had intelligence that Hamas stole the aid —no evidence provided— and decided to prepare a new plan to undermine this effort and return to dragging starving civilians to waiting for aid near the crossing and KILL or WOUND as many as they like as they used to do every day!
Gaza: Desperate, hungry people face the inhumane choice of either starving to death or risk being killed while trying to get food.

71 civilians have been killed by Israeli army fire in the Gaza Strip since dawn today. Among them, 50 were starving civilians who were waiting to receive humanitarian aid including food and water.

Al Awdeh Hospital:
“We received bodies of 23 people KILLED and 156 WOUNDED including 60 in SERIOUS CONDITIONS after they had been fired at by Israeli occupation forces while waiting for aid near Gaza Valley.”
Despite the world’s focus on the war with Iran, the genocide in Gaza continues unabated.
Every day, our hospitals receive hundreds of wounded—most of them innocent civilians who had simply gone out in search of humanitarian aid. Instead of finding food or relief, they were met with bullets from the occupying forces. They returned home injured or lifeless, and still without a morsel of bread to feed their hungry children.
The suffering here is immense. Families are torn apart not just by bombs, but by hunger, fear, and despair. And yet, the world remains largely silent.
He lost his leg before he ever learned to walk.
Five-month-old Hani Ziyara had his tiny leg amputated after an Israeli airstrike struck his family’s home in Gaza City.
At an age when he should have been taking his first steps, Hani is instead facing a life forever changed by war.
His story is just one of countless tragedies unfolding in Gaza — a place where even infancy offers no protection from violence.
In this Foreign Office memo of Nov 1965 the UK conspires to conceal the fact there is an indigenous population on Chagos. 60 years later the UK and Mauritius continue to deny Chagossian indigeneity, despite all the evidence- including this earlier admission of deception.

Starmer and Lammy are desperate to force through the Chagos islands deal before Trump takes office.
They are offering to pay £9 BILLION upfront.
The WORST trade deal in this history of Britain.
Never forget, they couldn’t afford money to keep elders warm, but can to pay billions to a country that never owned these islands.
How can the UK government agree to give Mauritius £9 billion with the current worsening fiscal position and bond market situation?
The Treasury should refuse to sign off this giveaway cash for Mauritius and tell the FCDO/NSA to stuff it - cannot be allowed on balance sheet
According to Mauritian press, the UK is consulting the US on the latest proposals, following the visit of the Mauritian AG to London. There is a further claim that the Mauritians are not in a rush to conclude before Jan 20. No mention of the Chagossians. https://t.co/XOywnprPGO
