It’s a great day to be a @burkburnettisd Bulldog. The combined groups of BMS and Overton Ray toured the campus of @MSUTexas this morning. It’s never too early to expose kids to life after school. All of these young men represented us well in both dress and behavior.

We are looking for a dynamic, energetic speaker to invest in our members at our next meeting on Tuesday Feb 11. There are no parameters or expectations on a topic. We just want someone to share their story and the things they believe our kids need to hear.

We are in need of some YOUTH dress shirts for some of our members. If you have some that your child has outgrown or would like to donate some new ones, we would appreciate it.

Today, we showed our appreciation to our BMS teachers by washing windshields in the faculty parking lot. We may have even gotten a few from those that work at @burkburnettisd admin. It is only a small gesture, but the boys enjoyed doing it.

Make sure and watch @Newschannel6Now tonight. They’re doing a story on the group at Overton as well as an interview with Mr. Jackson, who will be leading the group moving forward. It’s nice to have all the great things going on in @burkburnettisd highlighted, especially our kids.
