J’adresse mes félicitations à la Syrie pour l’étape décisive franchie hier dans le processus d’intégration pacifique des Forces démocratiques syriennes (FDS) au sein de l’État syrien. Je salue l’engagement du Président al-Charaa et l’esprit de responsabilité de Mazloum Abdi et des FDS à cet égard.

Depuis le début de la transition, la France a joué un rôle actif pour accompagner cette démarche et elle sera attentive à sa mise en œuvre.

La France continuera à appuyer la transition syrienne avec pour seules boussoles l’unité et la souveraineté de la Syrie, dans le respect de toutes ses composantes et du monopole de l’État sur les armes. En Syrie comme partout ailleurs, c’est ainsi que peut se construire le chemin vers une paix et une stabilité durables.

The adoption of the amended Bank Resolution Law is an important step towards rebuilding trust, strengthening the financial sector and restoring confidence.

The EU is supporting Lebanon on this path, next step: adopting an equitable Gap Law, on the path towards the conditions for an IMF programme and further strengthening our cooperation.

استقبل رئيس الهيئة المركزية للرقابة والتفتيش، المهندس عامر العلي، وفداً رفيع المستوى من منظمة "سيجما"، الذراع التقني للاتحاد الأوروبي، ومنظمة التعاون الاقتصادي والتنمية (OECD)، وذلك في إطار تعزيز مسار الإصلاح الإداري وتطوير آليات الحوكمة. 

وخلال اللقاء، قدّم مسؤولو الهيئة عرضًا حول أبرز المشاريع التي تحققت خلال الفترة الماضية، إضافة إلى المشاريع المستقبلية التي تشمل الخطة الإستراتيجية، مصفوفة النزاهة والشفافية، ومسودة قانون الهيئة الجديد. 

حضر الاجتماع رئيس قطاع الاقتصاد والمال الأستاذ علي مشكل، ومدير مديرية التعاون الدولي الأستاذ محمد العطوي، إلى جانب عدد من مسؤولي الهيئة. 

وأعرب وفد "سيجما" عن تقديره للتطور الذي حققته الهيئة في فترة وجيزة، مثمنًا التزامها بمعايير الشفافية واعتماد منهجية علمية في إعداد مشاريعها، كما اقترح مجالات تعاون واسعة في تطوير السياسات العامة، ونقل أفضل الممارسات الأوروبية في الرقابة والحوكمة، وتأهيل الكوادر البشرية. 

واتفق الطرفان على عقد اجتماعات مكثفة خلال الأسبوع المقبل لوضع خارطة طريق تنفيذية للمشاريع المقترحة وتحديد أولويات التعاون.

Israel’s pager attack in Lebanon detonated thousands of handheld devices across of a slew of public spaces, seriously injuring and killing innocent civilians.

This attack clearly and unequivocally violates international humanitarian law and undermines US efforts to prevent a wider conflict.
