Match the offer sheet -> You deal with cap problems for one season
Don’t match the offer sheet -> You now restart a rebuild where over the next several years, you will be looking for the type of player you just lost.
@MarineManimal@sdpnsports@reporterchris@jkamckenzie Either way he is getting paid regardless. Acting like Leo is out for himself is true, but this could all have been avoided if PV didnt negotiate like a dumbass for 3 straight years with his "franchise" cornerstones. 2/2
@MarineManimal@sdpnsports@reporterchris@jkamckenzie I disagree. I think that it comes down to:
LC goes to PV and says that they have OS on the table and say they want 15m
PV says no
PV then comes out and says he will match any OS
Leo accepts an OS for 3m more than what he was asking knowing that PV said he would match. 1/2
@ZachCav Again the hard ball negations of PV biting him in the ass. When your franchise player comes to you saying they have OS that go as high as 15m and you come back to them with 14m and work lower. YOU DONT START 3 MILLION BELOW AND NOT EXPECT THE PLAYER TO NOT SIGN FOR MORE MONEY
@shannonrwatts@MalloryMcMorrow@HaleyforMI L of an endorsement. But this is typical for someone who gets paid by an AIPAC subsidiarity to spew out their talking points. Major major L.
@beeker_16 Hey how is your dumbass dad doing today? Set the entire franchise back because he is too much of an asshole to give players good deals. Not so much of a big brain play when you get dog walked for 18mil and still have to sign another top star. Tell him good job for me.
