SM64 speedrunners found a consistent setup to skip the carpet ride autoscroller.

This saves upwards of 45s, making it THE SINGLE LARGEST TIMESAVE SINCE BLJS WERE DISCOVERED OVER 20 YEARS AGO.

It is stupid hard though and messing it up ends the run. Pretty cool nonetheless!

BTW, Steve's worst stage is unironically Lylat. Being ONLY metal deprives him of key resources and the slants make block play/combos difficult. Legalizing Lylat would legitimately be a significant direct nerf to Steve.

@Tony_Huynh @DavisMVStv I'm surprised no one here has even mentioned Bugs Bunny, his hammer and bat feel too strong for how disjointed they are. I can agree with the people saying Harley, though. Stripe, Shaggy, and Batman are fine. People are just over reacting about them.
