"BJP's Soaring Triumph: Hundreds Join in Srinagar as Recognition Grows Nationwide!"

In a significant development, hundreds of activists from regional parties, doctors, and prominent figures have officially joined the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) in S1 Church Lane Srinagar. The event, held in the presence of BJP General Secretary (Org), Ashok Koul, witnessed a warm welcome extended to the new members from various districts, including Srinagar, Pulwama, Budgam, and Bandipora.

@AshokKoul59 expressed his appreciation for the increasing recognition of the BJP as a trusted and commendable party nationwide, offering ample opportunities for its members to showcase their abilities.

Approximately 300 individuals attended the event, with around 200 formally joining the BJP, relinquishing their affiliations with the NC, Congress, and other local parties.

Notable personalities, including Senior PDP Leader Javid Janbaz, Provincial Secretary of Apni Party Zahid Hussain, CEO of GTP Delhi Saba Bhat, and Dr Riyaz Ahmad Khan, were among those who joined the BJP during the event.

Those leaders who were also present on the occasion were Seh Prabhari Kashmir Rafiq Wani, Party Spokesperson Altaf Thakur, Vistarak and Incharges North & South Kashmir Mudasir Wani and Veer Saraf respectively along with other prominent leaders who attended the day-long event.

Today attended the Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra programme organised by Administration of UT Ladakh in collaboration with Ladakh Autonomous Hill Development Council Leh at Chushot along with Sh. Phunchok Stanzin State President, Dr. Skalzang Dorjey State General Secretary BjP Ladakh, Sh. Mirza Hussain and Sh. Mumtaz Hussain Hon’ble Councillors LAHDC Leh, Smt. Saira Bano Hon’ble Chairperson Block Development Council Chushot and other subordinate officials of the various departments.
The programme was focused on fast track development after the formation of UT Ladakh, vision to Development Ki Guarantee, inclusiveness in progress and participation in democracy.

27 February 1981: In J&K Assembly, Sheikh Abdullah in his vote of thanks to Governor’s address uttered the following words on the floor of the house: “It is inevitable for the State to tread the new horizons of development. The unanimous efforts of the government & the opposition shall take the State of J&K towards new heights of prosperity. Today, in the state assembly, the important bill which is being tabled is about Article 370. I must say this Article should not be deemed as a last word. If people want, the union government shall be accorded with more authority in the affairs of Jammu and Kashmir.” Sheikh asserted that the people of J&K have willingly joined the Union of India and the decision was much based on logic then being a mere emotive one.
