शांतिपूर्ण प्रदर्शन कर रहे छात्र-छात्राओं के साथ की गई यह बर्बरता अत्यंत शर्मनाक है।

झारखंड के छात्र कोई राजनीतिक मांग नहीं कर रहे हैं। वे केवल राज्य की परीक्षा व्यवस्था में सुधार और भर्ती प्रक्रिया में अनियमितताओं एवं घोटाले के दोषियों के विरुद्ध कठोर कार्रवाई की मांग कर रहे हैं।

लेकिन राहुल गांधी समर्थित हेमंत सोरेन सरकार छात्रों की जायज़ मांगों पर विचार करने के बजाय उन पर लाठीचार्ज करवा रही है और आँसू गैस के गोले दाग रही है।

अपने अधिकारों और भविष्य के लिए आवाज़ उठा रहे छात्रों के साथ यह दमन किसी भी स्थिति में स्वीकार्य नहीं है।

पूरा देश देख रहा झारखंड के छात्र अपने मुद्दों को लेकर शांतिपूर्ण, मर्यादित व अनुशासित संघर्ष कर रहे हैं।

न वहां से कोई अमर्यादित भाषा सामने आ रही है, ना ही वहां पर अज्ञात स्रोतों से उच्च कोटि के भोजन उपलब्ध कराए जा रहे हैं, न ही वहां पिकनिक जैसा माहौल है।

झारखंड का विषय सिर्फ पेपर से जुड़ा नहीं है, नौकरी से भी जुड़ा है, झारखंड सरकार पर आरोप ये है कि सरकार के साथ सेटिंग करके लोग नौकरी देते थे और सरकार उनको नियुक्ति पत्र देती थी।

इतनी गंभीर स्थिति पर भी राहुल गांधी को झारखंड के छात्रों की गूंज सुनाई नहीं दे रही है, जो कोटा से लेकर प्रयागराज तक जाकर चिंघाड़ते थे, वो रांची के छात्रों के लिए मिमियाते हुए भी नहीं नजर आ रहे हैं।

Seven years ago, on this day, Articles 370 and 35(A) became history, marking a decisive new chapter in the journey of Jammu and Kashmir as well as Ladakh.

Since then, the lives of the people of J&K and Ladakh have witnessed wide-ranging transformation. Infrastructure has expanded, opportunities in areas such as education, healthcare, entrepreneurship and sports have grown. Be it the women or the marginalised communities, those who were denied their basic constitutional rights for decades have been empowered thanks to the full application of the Constitution of India.

मैंने आज पानी तो पिया है, लेकिन मेरी भूख हड़ताल जारी रहेगी।

सोनम वांगचुक को जब पता चला कि मैं न तो खाना खा रहा हूं और न ही पानी पी रहा हूं, तो उन्होंने टीम से संपर्क किया और हमारे आंदोलन को समर्थन दिया।

उन्होंने बताया कि जंतर-मंतर पर अपनी भूख हड़ताल के दौरान वे पानी तो पीते थे, लेकिन खाना नहीं खाते थे।

उन्होंने मुझसे पानी पीने का आग्रह किया। मैंने उनके सामने एक शर्त रखी कि जब तक हमें सफलता नहीं मिल जाती, अगर वे तब तक हमारा समर्थन करते रहेंगे, तभी मैं पानी पीऊंगा।

मैंने उनसे झारखंड आने का भी आग्रह किया। उन्होंने आश्वासन दिया है कि वे हमसे मिलने आएंगे।
