Spent a day full of insights with our leaders at the Welspun Corp Strategic Leadership Meet 2026.

Many important themes came up during the discussions, such as leadership, culture, AI, technology, execution and the future of our businesses.

One thought stayed with me: knowledge is now available at the press of a button because of AI. But what makes the difference is the ability to take ownership, solve problems, adapt to change and turn ideas into results.

As leaders, we must continue to learn and unlearn, invest time in understanding details, build stronger connections with our teams and create a culture that encourages accountability and growth. 

Equally important is focusing on 'Return on Talent Employed' or ROTE, ensuring that we create an environment where people can contribute, grow and perform at their full potential.

As we continue our 40-year journey, I am encouraged by the energy, aspirations and commitment of our leaders and I am certain that our biggest opportunities are still ahead of us.

As our Hon’ble Prime Minister has often reminded us, when 50% of the population moves forward, the nation moves forward twice as fast.

Because a woman is not just part of the story - she is life. She nurtures, leads, builds, and transforms the world around her.

Somewhere today, a young girl is watching. She is watching how women around her lead, how they balance responsibility and ambition, and how they rise to challenges. And what she sees, she begins to believe is possible for herself.

When she sees women leading teams, running businesses, shaping industries, and balancing many roles with strength and grace, it quietly reshapes her idea of what she can become.

At Welspun, we have seen how empowering women strengthens not only our organization but the communities around us. Over the years, more women have stepped forward across our businesses — on the shop floor, in offices, in leadership, and in innovation. Their perspectives, resilience, and leadership make us better every day.

Real change happens when we move beyond intent and continue to build environments where women and men contribute as equals where opportunities are defined by potential and stereotypes are steadily broken.

Because when a young girl sees it, she believes it.
