How many wind turbines does Germany have?

At the end of last year, Germany had a total of 28,230 onshore wind turbines! Of those, 484 were newly installed in 2021. It's no surprise that Germany is Europe's top producer of wind energy.

Among respondents from 53 countries (with Africa highly under-represented), those in China were most likely to say their country is democratic. Vietnam and Taiwan were #2 and #3.

Hotel occupancy rates up to 34.7% in May, from 33.1% in December. Guest houses are going backwards though.
