COTI’s Helium Mainnet Upgrade is complete 💫

The scheduled Helium upgrade has been successfully completed, and the network is now fully operational.

🔒 All funds remain safe
🚀 Helium performance improvements are now live
Users can continue normal on-chain activity.

Thanks for your patience!

May I also humbly point out that @COTInetwork has the Helium HF tomorrow. This is a major unlock for private DeFi and private RWA on the fastest, lightest, cheapest privacy layer in web3.

Actual privacy use cases running LIVE on mainnet for months.

Come to think of it...that wasn't so humble, but it's true😁

"Privacy infrastructure is too important to depend on any single entity." @shahafbg on the $ZEC drama

[Shahaf Bar-Geffen @shahafbg]

The $ZEC drama exposes a broader question the privacy ecosystem needs to answer:
How do we build unstoppable privacy infrastructure that transcends organisational politics?
Privacy coins were the first chapter.
Important work that proved on-chain privacy could exist.
But the next chapter requires different architecture.
Privacy as programmable infrastructure across multiple chains and applications.

This is why COTI focused on building a privacy layer rather than a privacy coin.

The privacy mission is bigger than any single protocol or organisation.
The builders working on Zcash, Monero, and privacy infrastructure across the ecosystem are all advancing the same goal: financial privacy as a fundamental right.
Governance disputes will happen. Development teams will change.
But the work continues. Privacy infrastructure is too important to depend on any single entity.

Canton Network captures an essential truth about enterprise blockchain adoption.

Compliance demands transparency to authorised parties. Privacy demands confidentiality from unauthorised access.

Both must coexist on the same infrastructure.

This is exactly what programmable privacy enables.
At @COTInetwork we've architected gcEVM specifically for this use case.

[COTI Foundation @COTInetwork]

Privacy evolved from 'hide everything' to 'control everything.'

Monero and Zcash pioneered anonymity.
Now, COTI delivers programmable privacy.

The difference? You decide what stays confidential and what gets disclosed.
That's Privacy 2.0.

The infrastructure is ready. Use cases are deploying now.

@syncra_xyz and @StaTwig are live with confidential governance and private supply chains.

Watching Zama's progress with FHE on Ethereum.
This is meaningful progress for on-chain privacy.
But let's talk about the performance question no one's addressing.
FHE is mathematically elegant. It allows arbitrary computation on encrypted data.
The tradeoff? Computational intensity that limits real-world throughput.
For simple operations like transfers, it works.
For complex multi-party computation at enterprise scale, different approaches are needed.
@COTInetwork's Garbled Circuits offer a much stronger performance profile.

The privacy ecosystem needs multiple cryptographic approaches.
Each serves specific applications where their tradeoffs make sense.

[Shahaf Bar-Geffen @shahafbg]

The SEC acknowledging legitimate privacy needs in blockchain marks an inflection point.

Regulators are starting to understand: blockchain transparency created new surveillance capabilities that didn't exist before.

Privacy tools aren't about hiding.
They're about restoring the baseline level of confidentiality we had in traditional finance.

The path forward requires both privacy and auditability.

This connects two critical trends: AI agents and verifiable credentials.
The core insight is correct: identity verification without exposing biometric data requires cryptographic proof systems.
But ZK is one approach.
Garbled Circuits and MPC offer complementary capabilities.
At @COTInetwork, we're building for a future where AI agents interact with private on-chain data with our partner @PriveX_Official
Not just proving credentials.
Computing on encrypted information without exposure.
The convergence of AI and cryptographic privacy is just beginning.

[Shahaf Bar-Geffen @shahafbg]

programmable privacy means avoiding the binary "private or public." Selective disclosure. Confidential computation.
COTI delivers this through gcEVM on Ethereum. Developers choose exactly what stays private and what gets revealed.

[COTI Foundation @COTInetwork]

COTI's CEO @shahafbg sat down with @ValdrinCrypto from @CCNDotComNews to discuss COTI’s growing leadership in Web3 privacy.
'Our role is to educate, to be in the right RWA conversations, and to partner with leading DeFi teams and major wallets to bring private experiences to users.'

Worth listening to @IOHK_Charles explains @MidnightNtwrk

The Three Pillars Solved by Midnight:
1.Rational Privacy: enabling users to disclose information to some, but not all (which aligns very well with Selective Disclosure we allow on @COTInetwork )
2.Identity: Integrates the W3C Decentralized Identifier (DID) standard with privacy, creating an identity layer where the user controls the disclosure regime. This facilitates algorithmic regulation (aligns well with our Programmable Privacy approach)
3. Cooperation: Favoring cooperative economics and rejecting "ponzanomics"
We love team Midnight and wish them well with the upcoming $NIGHT TGE

Talking COTI to open minds is an interesting experience. Seeing non crypto native eyes light up when you go into full “monologue mode” is something else man.

Most WEB3 people don’t “get it” because they use the past 5+ years experience as a reference that clouds their perspective.

People can’t understand this because they don’t have the immense vision that’s in play here. They can’t grasp the concept.

Let’s dig into this on Tuesday…it’s still #WHYNOTUS

[Shahaf Bar-Geffen @shahafbg]

Eli captures the core tension: decentralization requires data sharing, but privacy requires selective disclosure.
ZK-STARKs solve verification without revelation. That's powerful for certain use cases.
But execution privacy requires different cryptography. Garbled Circuits enable encrypted computation itself, not just verification of hidden inputs.
Both are essential for Web3's privacy infrastructure.

[Marcio @marciojardimr]

You can't explain ZK unambiguously in 4 words
but you can explain @COTInetwork in just 2
